It’s so hard…

when you lose someone. And it’s not less hard if a friend loses a family member and you are too far away to comfort them and all you can do is send them all your best thoughts.

The Butterfly

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam and for a brief moment its glory and beauty belong to the world but then it flies again and though we wish it could have stayed… we feel lucky to have seen it.

Elegant Baby Card

Good morning everyone!

It’s Tuesday again and we have a new Challenge over at the Cards und More Blog – the Theme for this one is “Special Occasions”.

We are being sponsored by A Day for Daisies and I was given this Digi to work with, called Flower Maiden.
I cannot put my finger on what it is with this Digi but it just caught my eye. I chose to create a Baby-Card with it, but this Image could be used for so much more, even Sympathy-Cards.

But here is what i made…

There are no words…

… to describe how it feels when your best friend dies.

On Thursday he was out, riding his motorbike and as he was driving through a forrest, a deer jumped out in front of him – he did not make it to the hospital.

Since his family lives 600km away from me I am not able to be there for them as much as I want to – the little thing I can do is craft and send them all my best thoughts for this hard time.

So if you have a little time, light a candle for him, include his family in your prayers.

I miss him so much, we all do – but we will never forget him.
He will always have a very special place in my heart.

A Set of Sympathy Cards

It’s never a nice feeling when you get a Call – asking for 4 Sympathy Cards.
I just hope these will brighten someone’s day at least a little bit.
